Ingredients:
- 1 small whole chicken (Cornish hen preferred)
- 1/4 cup glutinous rice (soaked)
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2–3 fresh ginseng roots
- 5 jujube dates

- 6 cups water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
- Stuff the chicken with soaked rice, garlic, and dates.
- Place chicken in a large pot with ginseng, ginger, and water.
